The providers listed in sections 5 and 9 include companies headquartered in the United States and other countries outside Japan. Before entrusting the handling of personal data to them, we review the personal information protection regime in the country where each provider is located and the protective measures that provider has in place. 11. Disclosure, correction and suspension of use

On request from you or your representative, we will notify you of the purpose of use of the personal data we hold about you, disclose it, correct, add to or delete its contents, suspend its use, erase it, or stop providing it to third parties. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge for this.

12. Retention and disposal

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of use, and for any period required by law. After an enquiry has been dealt with, we retain its contents for three years as a rule, so that we can improve how we handle similar enquiries and respond to any follow-up. Personal information that no longer needs to be retained is erased or disposed of securely without undue delay.
